Mount Calvary Junior Academy

Mount Calvary had its first beginnings at 1212 Scott Street in a two-roomed red brick building, which has since been designated as a “Historical” part of Tampa Bay.  

The school was one of the first Christian Schools in the Tampa Bay Area.  The school later moved to its current location at 3111 E. Wilder Avenue. Mount Calvary Junior Academy is a fully-accredited Seventh-day Adventist Junior Academy. It is centrally located and near public transportation.

The academy offers a well-rounded curriculum, which has been enriched to meet the diverse needs of Christian living in contemporary times. The students receive a meaningful, stimulating and Christ-centered education. 

The teachers are dedicated, hard-working and committed to improving the lives of their students spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically. Every effort is made to prepare students for this world and the world to come.  

Mount Calvary Junior Academy values its students’ unique talents, gifts, and abilities and provides an appropriate and challenging educational environment for them to reach their highest potential. The students are from all walks of life, as many parents make the hard choices about where to place their children. 

The decision to invest in the future of the children by providing them with strong formative educational preparation has been embraced by many parents. After all, we only get out what we put in. We must make the way for our children's future welfare.
