To My Beloved Members of My Congregation

Blessings To All

"O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever."
Pslam 107: 1

Praise be to God for His enduring mercy as I continue to recover from a blood clot which had developed in each of my legs.

I still face challenges regarding the blood clot in one of my legs.

After more medical tests and followup visits with my physicians, I will give you an additional update on the progress of my recovery.

I thank each of you beyond measure for your outpouring of love, prayers, support and other tangible expressions of sympathy and well wishes.

Please, continue to lift me up in special prayer for a full and complete recovery.

I love you all.

This is another update on my progress toward recovery.

On Christmas day, I experienced what I hope and pray will be a temporary setback when I was admitted to University Community Hospital in Tampa for treatment of a blood clot which had developed in each of my legs.

Please continue to pray for widsom for the physcians and for God's miraculous intevention in restoring me to full and complete health.

To The Beloved Members of my Congregation

"I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1

On November 26th, I had a post-discharge visit with my physician.  He seemed to be pleased with my progress.

On December 1st, I will have another MRI done of the brain and based upon the radiologist's reports, a comprehensive evaluation and assessment will be made as to where I am in the healing process.

Continue to support and to sustain me with your prayers for a full and complete recovery.

"O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever." Psalms 107:1

God be praised for His enduring mercy which led to my discharge from St. Joseph's hospital on Wednesday evening, November 21, 2007.

I was released into the custody of Bay Care Home Care, which will continue the course of treatments, working towards my full recovery.

There are challenges that yet lie ahead and I solicit a continued interest in your prayers that will complete the work of healing which He has begun.

"O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever."

To the Members of my Beloved Congregation

Blessings to all

"For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
Psalms 27 verse 5

Quite  unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, November 10. 2007, I suffered a pulmonary embolism and had to be transferred immediately to the Intensive Care Unit at St.  Joseph's Hospital. This sudden turn of events was totally unrelated to my previous illness.

However, through the direct intervention of the Great Physician, the skill and wisdom of the earthly physicians and the fervent prayers of the saints, God has demonstrated in a marvelous way His power to heal, to save and to deliver.

I am happy to share with you this praise report: I have now been released from the intensive care unit and have been reassigned to a patient-care room. My doctors are confident that my prognosis is good and, after a successful course of treatment, should be released from the hospital into home-care .

I thank each of you beyond measure for your outpouring of love, prayers, support, gifts, cards, flowers and other tangible expressions of your sympathy and well wishes. Please continue to pray for my full recovery.

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord." Psalms 31 verse 24

To the Members of my Beloved Congregation:

Blessings to all!

On Tuesday, October 30th because of some sudden and dramatic changes to my health I was rushed to the Emergency Room at the University Community Hospital on Fletcher Avenue in Tampa, Florida.

After evaluation and diagnostic studies I was diagnosed with a brain abscess and was transferred immediately to the St. Joseph's Hospital.

Presently with the help of the Almighty, and the best in current, available medical treatment, I am on my way to recovery.  My doctors have assured me that my progress is good and project a continued treatment and recovery period of up to six weeks.

In the coming weeks, with the help of the Almighty, your fervent prayers for a complete recovery, the assistance of my doctors and God's super-abundant mercy and favor, I do hope to join you in ministry and service at the beginning of January 2008.

Peace and love to each of you!
